Professor Michelle Williams is a doctor and researcher into heart disease and artificial intelligence. She is a Clinical Senior Lecturer at the University of Edinburgh, Radiology Consultant at NHS Lothian and Associate Director of the British Heart Foundation Data Science Centre with Health Data Research UK. Her research centers around multi-modality non-invasive imaging of the heart and blood vessels, including using machine learning and other advanced analytic techniques. She is president elect of British Society of Cardiovascular Imaging, member of the executive committee of the European Society of Cardiovascular Radiology, and member of the Board of Directors of the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography.
